Dr. Sorin Chiru, General Director of the Romanian national Potato and Sugar Beet Institute visited CASP in Prince Edward Island. During his visit, he met with CASP’s Executive Committee, toured potato research, production, processing, and potato marketing sites in order to assess goods, services, and technologies that may be helpful in upgrading and expanding the Romanian potato industry. CASP and the Romanian Potato Institute are collaborating on a number of Romanian potato and livestock initiatives.
