CASP was created in recognition of the fact that international agriculture, fisheries, and environmental development increasingly requires comprehensive world-class capabilities that cannot be provided by an individual firm. CASP provides scale, comprehensive technical and management know-how, goods, and substantial investment capability for major and often comprehensive international agricultural development initiatives.

While CASP Overseas Ltd. is headquartered in Prince Edward Island, Canada, a related organization CASP Overseas PLC is Eastern European based in recognition of our large and various agriculture, fisheries, and environmental activities in that region.

In addition to the Canadian and other institutions and companies that are part of CASP, our CASP organization is also able to mobilize world-class public sector expertise for its projects. There are some agriculture, fisheries, and environmental skills and capabilities (e.g. soils and food safety labs, extension services to farmers) that can best be found in the government sector. Through CASP’s relationship with the Government of Prince Edward Island, we have been able to access expertise from its Ministry of Agriculture and other departments to provide short-term public sector expertise internationally.

For large and/or comprehensive agriculture, fisheries, and environmental projects, CASP is able to provide world-class private and public sector goods, services, and know-how that make it a one-stop shop for such international development projects.
